I just replaced the battery on the remote (CR2032)

I just replaced the batter on the remote and I cannot turn on the APPLE TV.

The on light blink but will not stay on.

Does anyone have ideas what to check?

I am in Greece and trying to connect it to my TV by the HDMI cord.

I had to replace battery yesterday in remote as I couldn't toggle over to settings to find the wireless in my house.

Now with the new battery installed (CR 2032) I cannot turn on APPLE TV.
