MacMail Trash Option Alert Disappeared!

I'm on a new MacBook Pro, El Capitan 10.11.2 using MacMail. Love the new banner alerts -- well, I loved them when they gave me the option to trash! However, as of a few hours ago it disappeared, and now all it does it give me the option to reply or close.

I've been hunting around, but can't seem to find the fix. Searched here, on the web, went to System Preferences and clicked on mail, etc. Nothing about customizing, fixing or restoring defaults for this feature.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
