internal dummy connection

I am getting this in my web log.

"Apache/2.2.26 (Unix) PHP/5.3.28 with Suhosin-Patch mod_ssl/2.2.26 OpenSSL/0.9.8za DAV/2 (internal dummy connection)

What does this mean? Should I be concerned?

Thanks in advance.

The "internal dummy connection" is normal and expected behavior of the Apache web server.

What's somewhat more concerning here are the other parts of that message... OpenSSL 0.9.8za is old and was completely deprecated and has known vulnerabilities (it's about two years old, and OpenSSL moves pretty quickly), Apache 2.2.26 and php 5.3 are also both down-revision. I don't know the mod_ssl version off-hand.

If this box is running Lion Server, then please consider an upgrade to something more recent.
