SD Card

Hi

I want to be able to upload photos from my digital SLR to my iPhone for viewing. I have tried a Kingston Mobelite but it is not compatible with the 6s. I see there is an Apple Lightning SD Card Reader but it says it is for iPads and no mention of iPhones. I have also tried an SD Card Reader with a lightning plug but it is very cumbersome. Any suggestions?
