How to get songs from Apple Music in GarageBand?

I want to record a cover version of a song I downloaded via Apple Music, but can't find the sound file I need in GarageBand, even after I moved the file into the 'iTunes Media > Music' folder. Can someone please help me with this?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)

In GarageBand - In the Media Browser, click Audio or Movies, depending on the type of media you want to import.
Select the location or folder that contains the files you want to import.
Click the Play button at the bottom of the Media Browser to play songs from iTunes or preview movies from your Movies folder before you import them.
Drag the files you want to import into the Tracks area.
