Replacing hard drive for mid-2012 MacBook Pro (13 inch)

I was recently told by the Genius Bar that my hard drive has some sort of issue and I need to replace it.

I'd much rather not to it through the Apple Store and I'd prefer buying one and installing it myself. I would just like some recommendations exactly for what I should replace my hard drive with (like a specific type).

Thanks for any help you can provide!
