Q: Macbook Air Suddenly Crashes

Hi!
I have acquired a macbook air and recently joined the Apple army. The laptop is fairly new, as it is only 5 months old.
I started to experience sudden crashes lately. Although It does not happen at a specific moment, sometimes it just decides to freeze all of the sudden... sometimes as I open a new tab on safari, it just happens randomly. I don't think I am forcing the laptop with anything, as sometimes I am using photoshop and doing several things at the time, but it never seems to slow or freeze my mac.

Curious thing is that if music is playing, it keep on playing, so it seems that it does affect that part. If I close the lid, the screen will remain turned on (Though music would stop when I close it) The only thing I can do is force shut it by hold pressing the on/off button, at it literally feels like if I am hitting my mac when I do that, it is painful!

What I usually have open on my mac when it happens:

Safari, Mail, iTunes, "FreeChat for WhatsApp" (downloaded from the app store), Spotify, and Stickies, creative cloud. Not really more than that, sometimes I have photoshop open or Lightroom, but it still happened without them open, also without Spotify, Mail or Whatsapp open. Stickies, creative cloud and Safari are always on.

Would love to find a possible fix for this, as I have not found anything online and also because it is very new, and paying such a high price for a laptop, it is surprisingly shocking that it would freeze when that is the last expected thing to happen to it, come on, I didn't buy a premium laptop to have such behaviours from it!

I cannot take it to the Store where I bought it, because I didn't buy it anywhere near, as I moved out of the country, and finding an apple store would mean to travel several hours.

Thank you in advance!

PS: I might be posting this in the wrong Category, if so, apologies in advance! I hope I actually am not

The problem may be caused by a bug in OS X, triggered by "Flash Player."

If Flash is installed and you haven't already done so, please update to the latest version by opening the Flash Player pane in System Preferences and selecting the Updates tab.

If Flash is already up to date, or if the update doesn't solve the problem, open the Safari preferences window and select the Security tab. Uncheck the box marked

              Allow Plug-ins

    See whether there's an improvement.

You can watch videos on YouTube and some other sites without using Flash by installing the "ClickToFlash" or "ClickToPlugin" Safari extension. That's not an endorsement. You must always do your own research to determine the safety and effectiveness of any third-party software before using it.

If you MBA had a kernel panic, use these instructions to log and post it:

    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201753

    It may offer a clue.

    Ciao.

I Updated the software today i hope that will fix my problem anyway i will go with my mba to an apple shop . Thx , my advice is to use another broswer than safari.
