Needing some help. Trying to update my iphone with the latest. Message says l need to free up space and to 'change media sync options to make more storage available'. I've deleted apps. Even deleted facebook because they say that helps now l can't reinstall it....I've googled the **** out of this but still coming up with nothing. TIA

Without knowing what is taking up most of your space (which you could learn by doing Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage (under Storage), we can only guess how to help.
For example, if music uses a lot of space, when syncing using iTunes on your computer, you could go to the "Music" entry on the left ...
... and then uncheck the "Sync Music" box on top.
Then perform another sync, which will remove music from your iPhone (while not affecting it on your computer).

How much space shows as available (under Manage Storage)?
Is it at least 10% of the device's total space?

Have you clicked on your device and checked all of the options listed in the sidebar to see what you have set up for syncing? You may need to reduce the items you currently have set up to sync. Once you get it updated, then you may be able to re-select the items you de-selected and then sync again to restore them to your device.
