You might be able to get a few bucks for it on eBay, or even if it's not working you may be able to find someone who will use it for parts (at least paying the shipping if not a little more). You can't recycle them at the Apple Store because of their age, but it would be a shame to waste good parts when some hobbyists may be able to keep their old Macs going.
