May 14, 2016 6:40 AM in response to CoiiCoiiby imobl,No, Apple will not remove the Activation Lock from a second hand iPhone.
Only the person who initiated the Activation Lock can remove it. There is no
workaround for Activation Lock.
If you cannot locate the seller, turn the iPhone into the local authorities
with all the information you have about the seller. Most likely cause for
the seller to now be hiding is that the seller knew the iPhone was stolen.
