Q: My purchased books on iPad are not available on iPhone
Hi guys,
I am using iPad mini and iPhone 5c.
I downloaded a few hundreds books in the iBooks app on my iPad for the last a few years, and used to be able to open the books on my iPhone (I didnt re-download them, they were appeared in the iBooks on the phone automatically).
But I cant open all the books on the iPhone any more (The books still appear in the iBooks, but when I click a book, it says "This item is no longer available"), whereas I still have all the books and can read them on the iPad.
I recently changed the country, but does it matter? If it does, why only on the phone, not on the iPad? The book is still available on the iPad, but not on the iPhone?
I tried to synch books by connecting both devices to the iTunes on my computer, but the books from my iPad do not appear on the iTunes on my computer.
Does anyone know how to synch books on two devices?
Many thanks.
iPhone 5c

If you've moved countries then that is likely why, items bought in a different country's store will not be available to redownload in your new country due to licensing/rights-holder restrictions (apps are a potential exception, you can generally redownload them if they are in your new country's store).
If it does, why only on the phone, not on the iPad? The book is still available on the iPad, but not on the iPhone?
Moving countries affects what can be redownloaded, it doesn't delete content from a device. Were the books downloaded on the phone, or just showing in the cloud ?
Syncing to a computer lets you copy content from the computer to the device, it doesn't copy content off the device. Have you tried connecting the iPad and doing File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy the books over to your computer (and if using a Mac with iBooks on it then done File > Move Books From iTunes in its iBooks app) ? Do they not then show for syncing to the phone ?
