Is the new app "Classroom" compatible with all Apple TV ?

I got Apple TV generation 3, bought in 2013. (AppleTV3,2)
I would need one official answer, otherwise I would have to replace all the Apple TV in my school (80 devices).

I'm afraid you won't get an official answer here. We're all just ordinary users. Could you just get the app and try it?
it's an iPad app so it would only be compatible with the appletv using airplay mirror from an iPad and if the app did not active block airplay mirror which I guess would be odd if it's an apple app
You might try to find Classroom users in this forum iPad in Business and Education. The users here tend to be more interested in home use of Apple TV. And there might be some info here Apple Classroom
It looks like you can hold off on upgrading your ATV's...
