Disable quick reply on locked screen whatsapp application

Hello

I am facing privacy issue with whatsapp as below,

when my iphone is locked and password protected mode (fingure print or passcode) and new whatsapp message arrive any one can reply with that message by just swipe left to the message from notification.

Please note that i just want to get notification but i specifically want that quick reply should not enable is there any way to do that?

i have IOS 9.3.1 latest one

is there any way to disable when when

iPhone 5s, iOS 9.3.1

Tap Settings > Touch ID & Passcode then swipe down and toggle Reply with Message off.

Leave Notification View on.

But this is not work i am stil able to reply the whatsa message, have you tried and working properly as i mentioned??

bye applying above setting just can disable iMessage and text messages only not whatsapp message

That should have worked but there may be another setting within the app I'm not familiar with.

What you can do is email the Whatsapp developer using this email address; support@whatsapp.com

If it's possible, that should be able to give you instructions.

Hello, I have the same issue. I was perfectly happy with iOS 9 and I could see Notifications from WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger without being able to reply to it from the lock screen, however I just updated to iOS 10 and I have this same issue where even when disabling the reply with message button I am still able to reply to these two apps. Is there a fix?

Doesn't work.

Apple developers totally missed the point of "locked screen".

The definition of "locked screen" is for security and protection purpose.

With the ability to reply whatsapp message or any other message while the phone is locked is a reflection of how apple take security so lightly. It opens up a new level of pranking people (for the good intention people) or new level of security issue (for bad intention people).

There is a reason for whatsapp to allow preview only not the full message. But with the new iOS 10, a preview message can be viewed in full. So now I have to disable notification or allowing people to view message in full.
