Q: Mac - Quicktime - Recording is backwards - Feature request

Hi.

In quicktime when recording myself, the video is backward - i.e. not like a mirror.

I understand that this is the way the camera "sees" things, however most of us only see ourselves in a mirror.

This "backwards" way of seeing ourselves is very very annoying.

There should be an additional option on the "Record View"  dropdown, that is "Mirror"

That way we can choose which way.

Thanks

MacBook Pro with Retina display, iOS 9.3

Use Photo Booth if you wish to view/record in a "mirror" corrected mode. If you must use QT X for your movie recording, then record normally in the uncorrected mode but set the "Flip Horizontal" Edit menu option before saving the final output.
