Adobe audition???

I am in radio broadcasting and want to get some audio editing on my new imac intel core duo, i have learned that adobe doesnt run audition on mac platform but i was thinking that i could run it on my intel mac, i know that pro tools runs on mac and its an option if i cant get audition just like that program, does anybody have any information on running audition on a mac???
