Yamaha keyboard with midi to Behringer is202 plays GB voices. Concurrently, guitar does so with midi guitar. Now I want a footpedal to change GB voices. Do I connect to my keyboard midi in, or thru, or what?

Now that I have a tad more space...yes. I can access, play, GB voices with both/either, my yamaha keyboard with 5 pin midi in, out and thru ports....the out connected to the Behringer is202 docking station 5 pin midi in. My guitar, i actually put in multi input 1, so the app midi guitar gets it, and can play voices in GB as well and at the same time. In fact, if I want, I can substitute a mic and my voice, clapping and an array of live, analog sounds and the midi guitar will trigger GB voices.

So, so much for testing the set-up. Now it's on to performance mode, where I'll need to be able to change the GB voices live, and the way to do that while playing is a footpedal, and I'm going to try the Behringer FCB1010.

The question becomes, where do I insert that into the midi chain? I could plug it into the yamaha's 5 pin midi in...but I'm not looking to control it. So my guess is I would connect to the yamaha's 5 pin thru port, presuming it passes the foot pedals signal up the line with, instead or along with the actual keyboard signals (not that I would be playing it at the point I want to change voices).

The idea is, I'm playing guitar and need to change GB voice, hit the pedal. Or, I'm playing piano and want to change to organ.
