Is there any way to change the icon for the 'Downloads' folder I've created a shortcut for in the dock??

Here's a screenshot of what I'm talking about. I'd like for this to be another image...like one that has a downward facing arrow as the icon.

The standard icon for an empty Downloads folder in the Dock does have a downward arrow. The folder can be added to the Dock simply by opening Finder, navigate to Users > [your username] and then drag the Downloads folder from there to the Dock. Whenever the Downloads folder is not empty it will display a thumbnail of the content of the folder.
