1. Get your pictures off the phone
Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your computer - Apple Support
2. Create an iTunes backup if you have never done it before - even if you have a more recent one is desirable
How to back up your devices using iCloud or iTunes - Apple Support
3. Follow instructions here
If the screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch doesn't respond to touch - Apple Support

Not if they have been backed up to either iCloud or iTunes. iCloud backups are often enabled when the phone is set up. You could log on to iCloud.com and check if you have a backup there. Contacts are also usually in iCloud. For pictures try importing them before trying Recovery Mode.

Try keep Holding Home+Power Button & then after about 10 seconds Release Home Button but keep holding power button unt Apple Logo Appears
Try above step to get out of Revovery Mode
