May 15, 2016 8:01 AM in response to jamoeby judysings,Hi jamoe,
I understand you want to merge the contacts in your address book on your Mac with your iPhone. Are you using iCloud for your contacts on your iPhone 5s? The first thing I would suggest is to make sure you have an iCloud backup of your iPhone, and a backup of your Mac as well. A Time Machine backup is the best way to do this. In the Address Book app, you can choose File > Export > Address Book Archive.
How to back up your devices using iCloud or iTunes
Use Time Machine to back up or restore your Mac
After your backups are made, if you have iCloud Contacts enabled, on your iPhone, turn iCloud off. If you are asked to keep contacts on your iPhone, choose "Keep on My iPhone."
iCloud: Change iCloud feature settings
Follow the instructions below to sync your contacts from your computer to your iPhone using iTunes:
Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes using USB
In addition to Music, Movies, and TV shows your tabs might include:
Info: Sync your contacts and calendars.
Apps: Manage your apps and file sharing.
Podcasts: Sync your podcasts.
iTunes U: Sync your iTunes U courses.
Books: Sync your books and and PDF documents.
Audiobooks: Sync your audiobooks.
Tones: Sync your ring(tones) and other alert tones.
Photos: Sync your photos. Learn how to sync photos with iTunes. Turn on syncing.
Take care

May 17, 2016 11:59 AM in response to Csound1by jamoe,This thread is filed under Mac OSX10.6... Snow Leopard. My initial question states the OS I am using on my Mac. With respect, is this some kind of joke?
