Why are my devices not shown on my account?
My account says that I have 3 devices out of 5. However, when I log onto my account to see the devices none of them are listed.

I went here.....Sign in to your Apple ID account page, then scroll to Devices. If you don’t see your devices right away, click View Details and answer your security questions. Click any device name to view that device's information, such as the device model, serial number, and OS version. The information may vary depending on the device type.
After answering the security questions, it still does not list the devices.
OK, so the only devices that show up on your Apple ID account are those that are running specific iOS or OS X levels and which have your Apple ID signed in to one of the listed services for the level. Click on the Learn More option in the Devices section to see the info, or click on this link: Check your Apple ID device list to see where you're signed in - Apple Support

Where, specifically, are the two places you are looking?
Is the second place using a web browser to log in to your Apple ID (to "manage" it) and looking at your Support Profile? That shows Apple products that you have purchased, which are registered with your Apple ID for the purpose of service support (such as warranty coverage). It is not a functional association with your Apple ID, like in iTunes.
Are you currently signed in (as specified in the Learn More link) with the computers/devices you are expecting to see there (using that same Apple ID)?
And for the other place you are looking, where you see "3 devices out of 5," where is that? If that's in iTunes, that may show computers/devices that are authorized (or associated) with your Apple ID. That list does not (necessarily) show where you are currently signed in, so the two places you are looking can show a different list.
