My Macbook pro is making noises and running slow.

I have a Macbook pro (2015). I've used 38GB out of 121GB of storage and am running OS X 10.11.4. My Hard Drive seems to be making clicking noises and my fan is also making weird noises when it turns on. Ever since the noises started, my Macbook has also been running very slow at times, and the beachball appears a lot. Sometimes my apps will become unresponsive. I tried First Aid with Disk Utility, but the disk was verified. What is this problem and what should i do about it? Any help would be great!
