    Hi KF207,

I understand you are not able to start your Mac in OS X after installing Windows with Bootcamp.  The resource below will provide some troubleshooting steps for this issue:

How to choose a startup disk on your Mac

Use these steps to choose a startup disk with Startup Manager:

    1. Turn on or restart your Mac.
    2. Immediately press and hold the Option key. After a few seconds, the Startup Manager appears. If you don't see the volume you want to use, wait a few moments for Startup Manager to finish scanning connected drives.
    3. Use your mouse or trackpad, or left and right arrow keys to select the volume you want to use.
    4. Double-click or press the Return key to start up your Mac from the volume you selected.

Restart in OS X from Boot Camp

If you have started up your Mac in Windows using Boot Camp, you can use the Boot Camp system tray to switch your startup disk default back to OS X.

    1. In Windows, click the Boot Camp icon in the system tray.
    2. From the menu that appears, choose Restart in OS X.

    Start from OS X Recovery

You can also start your Mac from OS X Recovery or Internet Recovery if your Mac was manufactured after 2011.

To start your Mac from the Recovery System, use these steps:

    1. Start up or restart your computer.
    2. Hold down the Command and R keys on your keyboard until you see the Apple logo appear onscreen.

    Take care,

Was OS X working properly before you installed Windows? Is this a new Windows installation?

I was able to enter recovery mode, but for some reason I wasn't able to reinstall the os, and when I tried to repair the disk, it couldn't be repaired.

    What year/model is your Mac?

During the installation of Windows, your disk was converted from a GPT to an MBR disk, which will disallow OS X to boot, because it needs EFI. To inspect your internal disk, How to install OS X on an external drive connected to your Mac - Apple Support and boot from it.

Be aware that you may be installing the shipped version of OS X rather than the current version. If it is older than the current version on your internal disk, it can cause further problems.

It's a 2013 Pro. The Mac OS was working fine before I installed windows and for a few months after I installed it. It just stopped working all of a sudden.

If you boot into internet recovery, from Utilities -> Terminal, run the following two commands, copy the output, quit Terminal, start Safari, paste the output on this discussion.

This looks usual. What are the installed versions of OS X and Windows?
