Trying to install VDMX5 after upgrading to El Capitan. Installer stuck "verifying VDMX5 installer.pkg" for ages. Can anyone help? I'm running El Capitan on Mid 2012 13in MBP, 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5, 10 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB. Thanks!

I downloaded it from here and had no problem whatsoever: https://vidvox.net/download/VDMX5_b8.5.0.7.dmg

done a thousand times over :/

Once was enough.

Try booting into Safe Mode and try installing from there.

Then, restart normally and see if you can get the installer to run. However, once you get it to verify, it will not try to again.


You can also try just disabling the verification check: https://vidvox.net/download/VDMX5_b8.5.0.7.dmg
