Q: macbook air freeze, need hard reset

Hi, I have macbook air 4GB (early 2015). And time from time my macbook freeze. Trackpad does not work and I have to shut it with power button. When I tried to close the lid the apple logo was still lightening. I observed that this freezes happened when I am using only safari like facbook, youtube etc. Also I was listening to music once and when macbook freeze music was still playing. It is really annoying I would like to take it to apple store but the nearest is like 2 hours away.

I will be glad for every advice

First, make sure your Mac is up to date >  How to update OS X and Mac apps - Apple Support

Next, Flash is required for some Facebook and YouTube content so see if there's a Flash update available.  Open System Preference > Flash Player > Updates > Check for Updates.

Next, you may have a Safari extension or third party plug-in installed that's causing a conflict. It’s easy to troubleshoot.

From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Uninstall one extension at a time, quit and relaunch Safari to test.

If it's not an extensions issue, try troubleshooting third party plug-ins.

Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the Security tab. Deselect:  Allow plug-ins. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

If that made a difference, instructions for troubleshooting plugins here.
