Q: I have a Wifi Ipad Air. I also have an Iphone 5. I did something somewhere along the line where my Ipad no longer rings when a call comes in to my Iphone.  I like that feature.  But I no longer remember how I set it up in the first place.  Help?

On your phone go to Settings>Phone>Calls on Other Devices>Allow Calls on Other Devices>On. Select the iPad.

Make sure that you are meeting these requirements.

    • You need iOS 8 or later on your iOS devices and OS X Yosemite or later on your Mac.
    • Check that you're signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID on all of your devices.
    • Use the same Wi-Fi network on all of your devices.
    • Sign in to FaceTime with the same Apple ID on all of your devices. This means any device that shares your Apple ID will get your phone calls. If you don't want to receive calls on your other devices, learn what to do.

If you have everything set up correctly, go the iPad Settings>FaceTime>Calls from iPhone>On.

Thank you for your help Demo. but in Facetime, in my settings on my Iphone, there is no option appearing called Calls from Phone.   When I go to the Facetime settings, this is what appears straight down my screen:  Facetime(on or off)......my Apple ID......You can be reached at Facetime by (you can choose phone number or email or both)....then Caller ID(phone number or email, but not both together)...then Blocked( any number you have blocked.)  I have the current IOS, Facetime and Apple ID are all signed in properly.  I obviously changed some setting somewhere.  I feel like a knucklehead, because it's probably something so simple.

What you also want to do is enable Handoff in the settings.

Settings > General > Handoff & Suggested Apps

Something doesn't make sense to me about your settings. If you do not have the options that I am talking about in your settings, you can not or could never have used the iPad for phones calls. Thises settings were introduced in iOS 8 and if you are running iOS 9.3.1, they should be in the devices.

BTW, I just tested this again and having Handoff enabled had no bearing on my ability to receive calls on my iPad.
