Install Mavericks Macbook Pro Mid 2015

Hello People.

I work with music and my Pro Tools 10 runs perfectly fine on Mavericks... i can't use it with Yosemite, the OS X my mac came with.

I'm having a hard time trying to get Mavericks installed on my Macbook Pro 15 Retina. Mid 2015.

It can't even run the installer from the USB.

I used to run Mavericks perfectly on my Macbook Pro 13 retina mid 2014...

i'm not sure if my mac is having some problems to run the installer due to same SDD format... or if a mid 2015 mac totally CAN'T run Mavericks.

tips?

thanks!

MacBook Pro with Retina display, Mac OS X (10.0.x)

Your only viable options is to either pay to update ProTools or sell your new MacBook Pro and look for a used older model MacBook Pro that can still run older versions of OS X.

You will never be able to install an older version of OS X on that new model MacBook Pro and your current version of ProTools will not run on it with the newer OS X 10.10 or 10.11 versions

Another friend of mine bought a Macbook Pro 13 (non retina) that came with El Capitan. I installed Mavericks on it...

The the machine she bought was in production when Mavericks was still current. That has absolutely no bearing on your situation.
