My kik (messaging app) has been "cleaning" for 9 hours now, which usually takes a minute or two, so i cant use it which is frustrating, How can i stop it? Will i be able to use it again? I also tried freeing up space so it could finish quicker but it didnt work.

You can also try the standard fixes:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

what did you end up doing. because ik if you reset the whole phone you might loose the chats and if you reset all the setting ik for a fact you not only loose the chats but the app and every thing else on the phone including photos,videos,music,apps,contacts,and everything else that did not come with the phone
ok good i thought you where going to like reboot the whole phone then you would have had some problems lol so im glad you got it fixed ik whats it like to have something do that to you. if you have any other Questions feel free to ask them.... cuz thats what im hear for lol
Okay so my ipod occasionally asks me to verify my apple ID and so I go to my settings and type my password but then it loads..and loads.. for hours and it ends up not working. have you had this problem do you know to fix it?
Have you tried calling Kik?
try deleting the app then re-installing it you will loss all y ou chat history but nothing else (as long as you know your username and password)

All I did was turn my ipod off then back on like reboot it. Everything was fine nothing changed
lol yea I was scared to I didn't want to reset anything. I've had many complications with my ipod . Thanks ill ask if I have anymore problems....probably will lol
