Can NOT add multiple images in keynote... help!

I have tried to drag photos into keynote to populate multiple slides at once... IT JUST WILL NOT WORK. I cannot get anything to drag to the navigator panel. The only success I have had is dragging to one slide only. I've gone thru the finder, photos directly and desktop. Can anyone help? I need to get over 50 photos on 50 slides.

Hi, Annie

I just tried to do what you wanted in iCloud (I never use it, by the way) and the iCloud Keynote does not permit dragging over multiple images as far as I know.

But... in less than 5 minutes I created 10 blank slides, then, clicking on one of the blanks at a time (to activate it) I then dragged over from my picture folder on my Mac computer one image to each of the blank slides (one at a time).

See below. You can see I have dropped three images already in the first three 'blanks' and am working on the fourth. I know this is a kluge but that's what I often do.

I don't think it would take you long to do the same for 50....

So the next question is, how do I get it on my desktop? I always had it until I got this new mini last fall and along with it , el capitan. I will research that, but if you know please advise. Also, I knew I could do one at a time, but I was putting together something that required 50 pics on 50 slides ! 😮

Get what? Keynote? You should have Keynote on your computer. Look in your folder on your Mac called Applications or do a spotlight search for Keynote. See below, I have two different versions of Keynote.

Also, have you just tried logging onto iCloud, click on Keynote, create your blank slides and drag your images over to the blank(s) yet?
