Q: The device topic shows me a different name!

I phone 6s 64G iOS 6.0.3, the device topic shows me different name, and I am unable to put my name instead. I as trying to change my password  won't let me then I removed the current device name then am then I sign in again to my apple ID and the other name remain!

    This is not possible.  An iPhone 6S requires iOS 9 or greater.

    It sounds as if you are not talking about the device name (which is changed in Settings > General > About > Name), but rather the Apple ID of the owner.

     

    It sounds as if you purchased a used iPhone that is still associated with the former owner and is Activation Locked.  You must contact the original owner and have that person release the iPhone before you can use it.
