I would like to know if my MBP (A1278) is ok to run a 85w(A1343) MagSafe Power Adapter in place of the original 60w(A1344) ?
If so are there power/performance benefits?
Or is this a total power overload?
Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated & much thanks in advance!

The computer will draw only as much as as it needs. Using an 85W charger on 65W system under-uses it. The reverse -- running a 65W charger on an 85W system can burn out the charger.
