Q: Photo stream on IOS 9.3

I have an Iphone 6s with IOS 9.3.1 and a Mac with Iphoto 9.5.1.

On Iphoto under Icloud there is My photo stream and I can see photos taken and uploaded by the Iphone. However on my Iphone I can not see photo uploaded in My photo stream by Iphoto.

Of course Photo stream is enabled.

Could anyone help me, please?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

Did you enable iCloud Photo Library on your iPhone?

The iPhone will only show a "My Photo Stream" album, if you do not enable iCloud Photo Library in Settings > iCloud > Photos - see this manual page :http://help.apple.com/iphone/9/#/iphbfeb468fc

But the photos you upload from your Mac using My Photo Stream should be visible in the "All Photos Album". There is just not a separate "My Photo Stream" album, unless you stop using iCloud Photo Library.

    thank you

I had already enabled ICloud photo library as you suggested, but the photos are not shown in "All Photos Album" as in any other one.

Ffor iCloud Photo Library to work with your computer you need to have and use Photos on your Mac. Your footer indicates that your OS X is too outdated for that.

    thanks Rysz

however my Mac is OS X version 10.9.5 and I have Iphoto installed.

I could install El Captain, but I am afraid it will slower the Mac.

When I take a photo with the Iphone, it appears immediately on my ICloud "My photo stream" on the Mac; on the opposite, when I have new photos on my Mac and they are correctly shown in the ICloud "My photo stream", they are not shown on "All photos" in my Iphone.

Again you can not use iCloud Photo library with iPhoto at all or with OS X 10.9.5 at all so nothing you do when ICPL is enabled on your phone is going to sync to iPhoto - since you choose not to update to the new software (which is totally your choice) you can not use the features of the new software you have not loaded - you can use MyPhotoStream with yoru software - you can not use iCloud Photo Library which you state you are using on your phone

    thank you for your help

You wrote I can not use IC with Iphoto.

Below is a screenshot taken by my Mac. It is Iphoto with IC highlighted on the left and My Photo stream with 615 shared photos and it seems to me that ICPL is activated on my Mac. Am I incorrect about that?

Do you suggest to activate My photo stream only on both device and do not use IC?

Shared Albums and My Photo Stream are different iCloud services from iCloud Photo Library.  My Photo Stream and Shared albums are free and do not count against your iCloud Storage plan. The number of photos you can share this way is limited.  Both services are available in Aperture and iPhoto.  But iCloud Photo Library can store your complete Photos Library in iCloud and a library, not only as selected albums, It requires the Photos for Mac application on your Mac and at least OS X 10.10.3 or newer,  and a paid storage plan, if you exceed the 5GB free cloud storage.

    No I did not say

You wrote I can not use IC with Iphoto.

    What I said is

Again you can not use iCloud Photo library with iPhoto at all or with OS X 10.9.5 at all so nothing you do when ICPL is enabled on your phone is going to sync to iPhoto

And you do not show using ICPL - you show using MyPhotoStream which is a totally different service and has nothing to do with ICPL in any way

The answer to your confusion is simple

You can not use ICPL with what you have now and nothing using ICPL will sync to your computer\

    As I said

since you choose not to update to the new software (which is totally your choice) you can not use the features of the new software you have not loaded - you can use MyPhotoStream with your software - you can not use iCloud Photo Library which you state you are using on your phone

    Very clear and simple
