How do I stop auto updates for GarageBand?

I'm getting daily reminders to update GarageBand. If I click on update, it opens the app store which tells me that my version of GarageBand can't be updated. The next day I get the same reminder. It's driving me nuts. I know that I can stop updates in System Preferences under the App Store, but I want to still get system updates that I need for security. How do I turn off just the GarageBand update?

I did as you suggested in Terminal, but when I get to the App Store and control click on Garageband, I get a message that says: "The item you've requested is not currently available in the U.S. store." ! (Option click gives me the same message.)

Any other suggestions? Do I need to go back and change what I did in terminal again? I haven't asked it to hide anything else.
