Q: My Apple Watch no longer shows the photo album complication. How do I get it back?

My Apple Watch complication that shows "favorite" photos in the watch just disappeared. How do I get it back?

    Hi ..

This is from the Apple Watch User Guide

Photos from the iPhone album of your choice are stored on Apple Watch, and appear in the Photos app on Apple Watch. When you first get Apple Watch, it’s set to use your Favorites album—photos you’ve tagged as favorites—but you can change the album it uses. And, you can show a photo on your watch face.

    So restart your Apple Watch.

    1. Press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider.
    2. Drag the slider to turn off your device completely.
    3. After you turn off your Apple Watch, press and hold the side button again until you see the Apple logo.

Then try your photos. If that doesn't help, un pair then re pair your watch. Instructions here >  Unpair your Apple Watch and iPhone

    Hi Billy Rex

Photos cannot presently be viewed via watch face complications or via Glances on Apple Watch.

Instead, to view photos from your synced photo album:

    - When viewing the time on your watch, go to the Home screen (via a single press of the Digital Crown) > tap on the Photos icon.

If you are instead referring to the Photo Album watch face, try these steps:

    • When viewing the time on your watch, press firmly on the watch face until the existing watch face reduces in size and the name of the current watch face is shown above it (for example: Modular).

    • Swipe left / right to view available watch faces.

    • If Photo Album is not shown among the options, swipe left until you reach the New watch face option > tap on the New button "+" > scroll to the Photo Album watch face (by turning the Digital Crown) > tap on it to select it.

To change the album that is used for your Photo Album watch face:

    - On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > Photos > tap on Synced Album > select a different album from your iPhone.
