Can't access Outlook.com from Safari after El Cap upgrade?

Have just done my upgrade to El Cap (after having to re-install my system due to drive errors – wiped drive and restored from back-up), and all seems fine, however I can't access my Outlook.com account via Safari – I just get an error page to say the information can't be found. I first noticed it once I'd wiped and reinstalled the OS and restored, but then hoped the upgrade might have sorted it. All was fine before.
I can get to it via Chrome with no issues, but Safari won't load it. I've tried deleting cache and cookies, but no difference. If I use and old Hotmail URL, it will go in, but is really slow and unresponsive.
Any ideas?! Is there a plug-in I'm missing since the upgrade maybe!?
