Q: Siri ussue on Apple watch

I use Apple Watch with my iPhone 6 Plus phone. Both of them is up to date (Watch OS 2.2/iOS 9.3.1)

I have some problem with Siri on the watch.

1.

Siri learned that who is my wife, and who is my mother. If I ask Siri to show me they contact details, she does, but only on my phone, not on the watch.

He says, this:

Sorry, I don't see  'Tailor Sheila' in your contacts.

or

Sorry, I don"t now who 'Smith Barbara' is.

So, Siri knows, who is my wife or mother, but doesn't find them in my contact.

But if I ask her to show the contact details of 'Barbara Smith', she shows me my wife.

2.

When I listen to music, and ask Siri to Pause or Stop music, she says (writes) that 'I paused it', but nothing happening, the music does not stop.

I already tried to Reset Sync Data, but doesn't help.

Apple Watch, watchOS 2.2

I'm having a similar Watch/Siri issue, but in my case, rating songs on my iPhone has suddenly stopped working.

Siri on the Watch recognizes the command, and confirms that it took the action it was supposed to, but the rating on the song never changes.

I had the same problem because I set the display order of my contacts as surname - given name instead of the standard setting given name - surname. When you now enter relationships in contacts it adds them with sn - gn. It seems like Siri on iPhone does not care about the order but Siri on Watch does. Try to add the relationship manually with given name first and it should work.

If Siri isn't available, or doesn't understand or respond to questions

Before you try these steps, make sure that your device works with Siri. After each step, see if Siri is working.

    1. Make sure that your iOS device has an Internet connection through Wi-Fi or cellular data.
    2. On your iOS device, make sure that Siri is turned on under Settings > General > Siri.
    3. Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
    4. On your iOS device, go to Settings > General > Siri and turn off Siri. Then turn it on again.
    5. If you're using an iOS device, try to use Siri with a headset. If Siri only works when you're using a headset, get help with the microphones on your device.
    6. Contact Apple Support.

You're absolutely right. In the contact settings I set both Sort Order and Disply Order to Last / First.

On the watch I use 'Mirror my iPhone' settings.

If I ask Siri to set a name as a related name, or I add a related name to my name card by choosing a name from the list, the name order will be Last / First.

Unfortunately Siri on the watch seems to incorrectly interprets the surname and given name order, and doesn't find the related person in this case.

But if I change the order of the related name in my name card manually to First / Last, Siri will know who is my wife and my mother.

    Thank you for help, KhornAlpha

Now I updated my iPhone to iOS 9.3.2, and my Apple Watch to 2.2.1.

Unfortunately this update doesn't solve these problems.

Siri still can not stop (pause) the music through the watch..

I've already asked several of my friends, but they also have this experience.

I have the same issue. I just updated to Apple Watch OS 2.2.1 and I already have iOS 9.3.2. Tried everything except contacting Apple support. Interestingly, I am able to get Siri to play, skip, reverse songs but cannot get it to pause. This is driving me nuts!
