IPad 3 starts charging up less 100%. Now charge when is off only 8%.
And when is on using won't charge even is the lighting bolt on.
Called Apple support and the store for service Modernica in PR they only repairs diagnostic in warranty.
Need a solution!

I think you need a New Battery so better to Run Applw Self Diagnosis Test by Request from Apple & Also Try cleaning charging ports & use new genuine cable & adapter
Have you tried a soft-reset/reboot to see if it charges (and/or the battery level updates) after the iPad has restarted ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the ‘slide to power off’), after which the Apple logo should appear and it should reboot
now had no charge. in the screen appear the battery with 3 lines in red. And is connected to the charger. The only way it charges only to 8^ is turned off. And now I don't know how. 😟
Now os the battery logo with 3 red lines. Tried your instructions and appears the battery again.

I think your Battery is Defective or your Charger Cannot Provide Required Power to Charge iPad
