Does anyone know how to get rid of a "Product Specialty" in my profile? I have a (ew) Windows logo showing up on every post, and haven't used Windows since '98. It's creepy I tell you. (Though I probably could figure out Windows problems better than most of their users, I don't have to - that's why I have had Macs this whole millennium.)

Yes, that a "Specialty". It's an award for answering questions in a forum.

"

Do you have a specialty?

"Everyone has a favorite Apple product — now you can show it! When you join
discussions and help in your favorite product areas, you’re getting closer to being
recognized for having a specialty in that area. Specialty levels appear on your profile
and help show how familiar you are with that product."

This from clicking the link under ask a question. I can't post a link to it for some reason.User uploaded file

With all due respect macjack, a "specialty" is really an indication of "interest IN the area of specialty" until one gains "awards" in that area

I just turn 'em off = https://userstyles.org

The easiest way to use user styles is to use Stylish for Firefox, Stylish for Chrome, Stylish for Safari, or Stylish for Opera. It's all free, by the way.

Adjust the format and layout of ASC Pages-NoBadges - Themes and Skins for Apple - userstyles.org

Hiroto's CSS that redraws the pages for desktop/notebook displays MINUS the badging everywhere
