why can't Siri dial 511
doesn't work for me either, but how would anyone here know the reason why? We don't work for Apple and certainly on the Siri development team.
Why not just dial the number as it would take youa bout the same amount of time to do that as it would to press / wait for Siri, tell her to dial it and then have her actually try.
The sad thing is this used to work until some recent software update. It's the main reason I bought a Bluetooth speaker for the car. And you cannot fool it by adding an entry to Contacts and telling it to call that.😠 Please Apple, re-enable this feature.
Thanks for the reply. Since Apples headquarters is in Cupertino, some of the employees might have called 511 for traffic info in the past. Hopefully they have mentioned the problem to a coworker and we will have a fix soon.
