Can you please help
my ipod touch is not recognised by my laptop anymore but
some how every other apple product in the house still works on it.
any ideas?

Try Uninstalling & Reinstalling Latest iTunes Update & Try Connecting iPod
Do any of the recognized devices have iOS 9.3 or later?
- Are they using the same cable ?
Does the problem device change when connected to the computer?
Does it work OK otherwise?
- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
