Q: safari now won't load new york times articles nor IRS website

From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab then click:  Remove All Website Data

Quit then relaunch Safari an try those websites.

I am having the same issue.  I have contacted both Apple and my internet provider.  Odd thing is I don't have this issue on my other devices, just my MacBook Pro.  And when I disconnect from my network provider and login to a hotspot using a Verizon device as my network....no issues.  I can surf and go anywhere.  I have no idea what the conflict is.  It just started a day ago.

I just tried this as it had gotten to the point I couldn't log in at all.

It seems to be working so far.
