Q: Music Match - will I lose my music if I put iTunes on a computer and not add any music?

I had my music on my computer - I subscribed to Music Match and then all of my music showed up on all my devices. But I just had a computer crash and my music was not backed up. If I put iTunes on my computer, but not add any music - will that erase all my Music Match music in the cloud? I don't know what is primary - the cloud or the computer?

I know that as I added music over time using iTunes on my computer, it would automatically show up in the cloud - so I am afraid that if I install iTunes but put no music there, the next time Music Match connects, it will erase everything up in the cloud.

Please help me understand this service a little better.  Thanks in advance !!
