Q: My boot camp assistant will not accept a Window 10 ISO despite my mac being updated to El Capitan. Why?

Problem in the title. I have a 2013 15" Macbook Pro retina if that helps.

Yes, I tried those things. My issue is that the Boot Camp assistant seems to be outdated as it does not recognize a Windows 10 iso. It recognizes Windows 8.1 and older

Perhaps it is an issue with your computer model: Boot Camp- System requirements for Microsoft Windows operating systems. You may need to install Win8, then upgrade it to Win10.
