May 15, 2016 4:50 PM in response to kd4koby Carolyn Samit,See if there's a Flash update available. Open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Updates tab then click: Check Now
If Flash is already up to date, in that same Flash Player pane click select the Advanced tab then click Detete All under Browsing Data and Settings. Quit and relaunch Safari then try a video.
And make sure OS X is up to date by following the instructions here > How to update OS X and Mac apps

I can click further along the play line, and view the rest.

May 16, 2016 4:12 AM in response to Carolyn Samitby kd4ko,Yes I did! I can click further on the line and see the rest, but will only play first half when I restart it. When it stops, there is a spinning icon in the center of the screen.
No problem with FireFox
