iPad won't stop playing My Music. Big problem.

I've been struggling with this for many months and nothing I've tried, even hours with AppleCare works. lt's intermittent so it's hard to recreate on demand or diagnose. What I know: a song from My Music will play often if I pause watching a movie to take a break. It's happened with Hulu, Netflicks and StremToMe.

THe Music app is 99% never on. The music is being played and controlled through the music player in the slide up Control Panel:

Since the Music app isn't on or showing the song that is playing to be selected and playing, i can't paus it there. I discovered only the above Control Panel Player shows the playing song playing complete with the title scrolling left to right above the progress bar and sincel the play button is showing "Play" if I presshmerler it, thicon changes to Pause and the song stops.

if I open the Music app, I'll see a list of song titles in "Up Next" with the song that's playing in the top row first, but the play button is not on. The play button IS on in the Control Panel music player interface. I tried clearing all the songs in the Up Next list. They all clear, except the lead playing song in position #1 doesn't delete.

I Can delete the last except #1 playing song:

IF I let some time pass, when I open this Up Next list again, songs will somehow repopulate and the list fills up,again on it's own!

I discovered that the playing song showed in Reminders, so I turned it off hoping this was the culprit, but no luck. Even with no music listed as an Alert sound, music still intermittently plays!

i also discovered that I could start the song if I unplug my ear buds sometimes.

Other times I could start the song by unplugging the charging-data cable in and out and could start/stop the song just by touching the lightening tip to the metal iPad body! Not always Though. That was the strangest obviously. The playing will happen with or without earbuds being plugged in.

That's all I've discovered and thought I was close a couple times, but no such luck.

I'm at a loss and can't stop the intermittent sequences.

Sounds promising! But I'm forgetting, which (Force Restart and/or Reset all Settings) forces you to need to reset many of your passwords and the like so while you don't lose data per se, you do have to do a bit of reconfiguring, but if it solves the issue it would be worth it!

if you turn off suggested apps, do you Need to restart your device? Probably always best to, yes?

I'd start very simple. Try double clicking the home button then swipe the Music app up to force close it. Music apps with their ability to play in the background are probably the only apps that need to be forced closed everytime they're used.

If the problem persist try a reset. Ptess and hold both the home and pwer buttons until the Apple logo appears, release both button. Wait until your iPad starts on it's on.

Next is settings> general> reset> reset all settings. Be sure you know your wifi password because you'll need to enter it again.

Then comes the restore using iTunes on your computer. Without a computer I can't help much here.
