May 16, 2016 4:59 AMby dwb,Besides the Adware that thunderzzz points out, you are using Avast which can also slow the computer down. Anit-malware software like Avast is a double edged sword. It gives a false sense of security and slows the computer down besides. As long as you keep your OS up to date and practiice safe surfing you don’t really need anti-malware software.
