How do I copy my music/video from old iPad Air to my new iPad Pro? Back ups do not work?

I Have tried to use ITunes backup to restore my music and videos to my new Pro. Unfortunately it does nothing as far as moving the items I want. I subscribe to the cloud also but that doesn't allow me to move the music/videos either. Thanks for any and all help.

iPad Pro, iOS 9.3.1

iTunes backups

From your Mac or PC, you can make a backup of your device in iTunes. Syncing your device with your computer isn't the same as making a backup.

An iTunes backup includes nearly all of your device's data and settings. An iTunes backup doesn't include:

  • Content from the iTunes and App Stores, or PDFs downloaded directly to iBooks (You can back up this content using Transfer Purchases in iTunes.)
  • Content synced from iTunes, like imported MP3s or CDs, videos, books, and photos
  • Photos already stored in the cloud, like My Photo Stream, and iCloud Photo Library
  • Touch ID settings
  • Apple Pay information and settings
  • Activity, Health, and Keychain data (To back up this content, you'll need to use Encrypted Backup in iTunes.)

Learn how to make backups in iTunes, how to find them on your Mac or PC, and how to delete backups you no longer need.

One option - use a cloud service like OneDrive or Google Photos or Upthere.com to get it off the older device and then download to the new device

Unfortunately exactly what you tell me ITunes backup won't backup is what I want. I had tried the backups and nothing good came of it. I want my music and music videos that I have spent hours upon hours collecting moved to my new Pro. Most of it is from CDs or DVDs that I do not want to have to reload. The cloud supposedly gives you access to all of your content but only ig I pay another $25 to get iTunes Match. I guess buying a 3rd party program is the way I have to go. Apple really needs to make the iPad more upgrade friendly. Thank you for your time and your effort to help.

You don't need to reload them, all your CDs and DVDs are on your computer and all you need to do is a new sync to your new iPad. Should not take long.
