I have a brand new iMac of late 2015. Is there any recommendations for keeping in good condition the magic mouse 2 and magic keyboard that comes with it?
I tried to find answers in the iMac documentation but couldn't find anything. So my doubt is: Should I turn off my magic mouse 2 every time I turn off my computer? Or should it stay always on? (same question goes for the magic keyboard)

Note: When you aren’t using your Magic Mouse 2, it goes to sleep to conserve battery power. If you won’t be using your mouse for an extended period, turn it o to conserve even more power.

My interpretation of "for an extended period," concerning the computer is a couple of days. I use the previous versions of the Magic Mouse, and Keyboard, and the only time I turn them off, is when I will not be using them for a week or more.
Thanks Ferd II. That's useful... But how many time should I interpret as "for extended period"? I use my iMac to work everyday, it remains off just in the nights I'm not working, that's about 9-10 hours. Should I turn it off then?
I'm afraid to broke the on/off switch if I do it all the time I'm not using the iMac.
