Anyone know if/when iTunes 12.4 for Windows is coming?

Soon, but it isn't live yet. As I understand it Mac users have it in a system update already, but not yet as a standalone download.

Yeah, I'm seeing it on my iMac (just downloading now) but not available as an update for windows. I wish they would release them at the same time. Windows always lags behind.

I imagine they stagger the release to manage the demand, but yes it is annoying.

Yeah, I think your right. I guess it makes sense. I just want to get all the updating out of the way. It's been a busy night so far, iPhone & 3 iPads to iOS 9.3.2, TV OS updates, watch OS updates, El Capitan and now iTunes. iTunes being the final cog!

Also available through Apple Software Update on my machine now...

So it is, but it wasn't showing a few minutes ago. Right let's see what they've broken this time. 😉

Thanks for the notification. I will just wait for 'Apple Software Update' to show it, hopefully it's going to be updated on this soon. It's just how I've always done it and it always seems safe. Find updates a worrying time, so like to stick with tried and trusted method!!!

You may be in a chicken-and-egg situation as one of the outstanding issues with the 12.2 and 12.3 releases is that Apple Software Update may produce erroneous results, so it may claim that your currently installed version is up to date even though an update is available.

True. Although if I launch iTunes and check for updates within the software that also says 12.3.3 is latest version. I didn't think that part was ever affected - even though it does then re-direct to Apple Software Update.

My apple software update has never glitched on me, I did see problems for others but through recent versions it's always been fine. Am keeping fingers crossed it will do the job this time too. I'll keep checking it periodically and if it doesn't appear by tomorrow I'll follow the link to do it. I presume if you do it this way you can just install over the top of existing iTunes? I would be a bit nervy about messing up my music library

There are direct links at Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates but the 64-bit download seems to have stalled for me. Installing one version over the other works almost the same way as it does when you use Apple Software Update. It certainly shouldn't cause any problems, not that it will do any harm to wait either.

Installing an update shouldn't affect your iTunes library, though I'd always recommend updating a backup of your library before doing so.
