Hey all - loyal (but ticked off) Apple customer Jim here.
I am running ITunes 12.3.3.17 on a PC with Windows 7 Home Premium, and have an IPhone 6s with iOS 9.3.2 and as of today, May 16, each time the Apple remote App is closed on the iPhone, I have to re-log into Home Sharing on ITunes to get it to find my PC device on the phone. It used to be hit or miss, but it usually would find the device, but now, it's just plain not working.
The Apple Remote App is quite possibly the worst Apple software out there, and its lack of functionality for Apple Music is very disappointing, but now that it won't work at all without this annoying new quirk, I'm even more frustrated as I use it daily to listen to ITunes while working.
Any ideas on what's going on? Can Apple please respond to the nearly 900 bad reviews on the App Store and fix this crappy software? It's abysmal and will have me back on Spotify if it can't get fixed.
