Q: Airdrop doesn't work on a Mid 2009 MBP

Can't find the awdl0 interface with ifconfig command. I did already the NVRAM & SMC reset & deleted the NetworkInterfaces.plist / preferences.plist / com.apple.airport.preferences.plist files Nothing works!

Do you have any advice?

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)

What are you trying to use AirDrop for? A mid-2009 MacBook Pros will only work sharing files to another Mac... not to an iPhone or other iOS device.
